Which Face Oil should I choose?

9th Aug 2017

I remember buying my first bottle of face oil when I went to Paris as an 18 year old. It felt so indulgent spending so much money on a bottle of precious oil, at the Clarins counter in a beautiful department store. But I felt so good every time I used that oil and despite being a poor student/traveller, I felt like a million dollars when it came to moisturising at the end of the day!

1991. I even have the French stripy top thing going on.

That's the thing with pure face oils, it feels so decadent and luxurious every time you use them. But which one should you choose?? Honestly, all the face oils in the Lhami range are fine for any skin type, so you can't get it wrong. I have a bottle of each in my bathroom and mix and match depending on my skin and my mood. This is a great way to get the benefits of many different plant oils and aromas. If you’ve not used face oils before you will be amazed at how quickly your skin absorbs them without any residue. Just soft, smooth and radiant skin.

Calendula (Marigold) is my favourite of all plants oils for your skin. It is a natural anti inflammatory, anti-fungal, antiseptic and wound healer. It helps the skin cells regenerate and can even make funny little skin lumps and bumps just go away.

Rosehip is well known for it’s ability to reduce scarring and help the skin tissue regenerate making it the perfect choice for damaged skin, whether that be due to age, acne, surgery, burns or another causes. It strengthens the capillaries and helps reduce wrinkles. A natural anti-inflammatory, rosehip oil is very high in Vitamin C and it promotes collagen production.

Pomegranate for skin repair and collagen production. Anti-ageing, firms skin, regenerates tissue and strengthens capillaries.

Camellia (white tea oil) vitamin rich and keeps skin soft and smooth

Rose wonderful oil for women’s wellbeing, soothes the heart and calms emotions, great for self esteem

Chamomile brilliant for settling inflamed or irritated skin & shrinking capillaries

Centella (Gotu Kola) Anti-ageing, improves skin elasticity, Speeds healing and helps prevent future blemishes. Strengthens skin, increases circulation and speeds skin repair.

Argan calms inflammation, skin repair, very soothing and hydrating, helps heal acne

Tamanu Great for acne as it balances sebum production and helps heal scars
